Sólás Na Mara Seaweed Baths, Helbhic, An Rinn, is a wellness centre located in Waterford’s stunning coastal scenery, which utilises the health benefits of the pristine Irish sea with modern physio and therapeutic facilities to promote a truly organic and regenerative healthcare experience for athletes, sports enthusiasts, those seeking recovery from illness or those simply wishing to unwind.
Known to all athletes in the region as the first stop for sports therapy and relief from injury in the build up to races. This facility was also built with recovery in mind and the seaweed baths are the ‘secret weapon’ of many an athlete in accelerating recovery.

Flahavans
As local a business as you will get on the Greenway. The headquarters of Flahavans are a mere stone’s throw from the start line and can be seen as you pass over the picturesque viaduct in Kilmacthomas. Flahavans are a great supporter of West Waterford Athletic Club and have once again come on board as an associate sponsor. They have been milling oats in Kilmacthomas for over 200 years and a bowl of porridge is the fuel of choice for athletes pre-race for many of those years. As well as sponsoring the race on race day they will also be providing post-race glycogen replacement in the form of their highly popular flapjacks.

In 2019 we welcomed Coach House Coffee on board as an associate event sponsor.
Located just off the Greenway at the historic Famine Workhouse in Kilmacthomas, Coach House Coffee is THE place to stop and refuel on the Greenway. It was an instant hit when it opened in March 2017 and comes highly recommended for ethically sourced Coffee, Cake or Lunch.

It is a huge logistical task to get all our runners to the start line in a timely and safe manner. In the capable hands of Hallahans coach hire this will be done efficiently and professionally.
