Fia de Paor representing St Augustine’s was our top finisher on the day finishing second to Rachel O’Flynn of Loreto Fermoy in a hotly contested inter girls race. In the inter boys 5000m Noah Commins finished 12 to secure his place in the All Ireland and Grainne Moore came home 11th in the Senior girls race to secure her spot in the All Ireland.
There was also a 12th place finish for Naoise Mac Mhurchadha representing Means Scoil san Nioclas in the senior boys race.
We look forward to seeing all four in action next Saturday at Tymon Park In Tallaght with the first race underway at 12noon.
