THE LATE EDDIE MOORE RIP.
We sadly learned last week of the passing of Eddie Moore Mc Carthy Ville Abbeyside. . Eddie was a true athletics man. When he first came to the area in the 1970s, he joined St. Mary’s AC, before the formation of Dungarvan AC. From those early days, his love for the sport shone through. When Dungarvan AC was later established, Eddie became a central figure, serving with great dedication and eventually holding the role of chairman. Through his leadership, encouragement, and passion, he introduced countless athletes to the sport of athletics, many of whom would go on to enjoy long and fulfilling involvement in the club.Eddie’s contribution to athletics in the town, and to the community as a whole, will never be forgotten. Sincere sympathy to his family and many friends.
SYMPATHY.
West Waterford athletic club extend sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Molly O’Mahony Ballinroad Lower, who passed to her eternal reward last week, may she rest in peace.
