First Cross Country of the Season Sunday 15th
The first cross country races of the season will be held on Sunday September 15th in Tramore. The venue is just behind Spashworld. There will be races for under 9,11,13,and 15. Under 10’s can compete in the under 11 race , under 12’s can move up to under 13 and under 14’s can compete under 15. This will be a good chance to stretch the legs and compete ahead of the county championships.
West Waterford County Board Cross Country Squad Training.
Day 2 of the county cross country training will take place in Colligan Wood on Saturday next 14th of September @11am under the guidance of Ravis Zakis. This event is for athletes under 12 upwards.
Primary Schools Cross Country
The West Waterford Run Primary Schools Cross Country will take place in St Augustine’s College on Friday Oct 6th with a 6.00 start time. Registration will open at 5.15. Please come early as parking is limited and we ask those in the Abbeyside and Ballinroad areas to walk or cycle to the venue.
There will be races for 2nd,3rd 4th,5th, 6th and First and Second years Secondary Schools. The races will start at 6.00 sharp so please come
