Another International Title for Noah Commins
Noah Commins brought the curtain down on his best season ever with a win in the Scottish Championships 800m.Noah was competing as part of the Irish under 18 team who had a very successful trip to the championships in Aberdeen. On Saturday Noah finished 2 nd in the heats of the 800m and qualified for the final. The final was run in true championship style with a very pedestrian first 500m followed by a big burn up over the last 300m. Noah showed he had a great turn of speed over the final part of the race to take the win in 2.06.
On Sunday Noah also competed in the 1500m and again qualified for the final but 4 races in 2 days proved a step too far and he had to settle for 10 th in the final.
