SETU to Host East Munster Cross Country
The East Munster Cross Country will be held in SETU Carriganore on Thursday next. The weather on Thursday looks ok for cross country running but the rain of the past week means the course will be heavy underfoot and will cut up easily. The course in Carriganore is already a tough cross country course but the underfoot conditions will make it even more challenging so come prepared for a tough and muddy run.
Thirty four schools from Waterford and Tipperary will compete in the event which will feature eight hotly contested races. The top fifteen finishers plus the top four teams in each race will qualify for the Munster Cross Country Championships in Tramore Valley Park on Thursday 12th February.
We will be setting up the course in Carriganore on Wednesday @1pm and would welcome help from anyone who is available. We are also looking for additional stewards for the course on Thursday so if you can help contact Mary Ashe.
