Fun in the Sun at Finisk and Ardmore Sports
West Waterford’s younger athletes were in action in two fun nights on July 6 th in
Finisk Valley and Ardmore on July 23 rd . These nights are the essence of what sport
should be about for our young athletes, having fun and making new friends. As
we were still training in early July there was a big turn out for the Finisk event
with almost 30 athletes from West Waterford taking part. We had finished
training by the time Ardmore came around but 11 West Waterford athletes took
part in the event. Thanks to Finisk and Ardmore for two great fun events.
West Waterford will host a series of fun juvenile 1km races in Sept and Oct. The
dates are being finalised at the moment.
