Parents Welcome at Presentation of Prizes for InterSport Elverys Winter League

The final run of Tony’s League sponsored by InterSport Elverys will take place on Wed next Nov 30th. This will be a reverse run with the person with the slowest time going off first and the person with the fastest time off last. If everyone runs to form we should have a big sprint for the finish as the clock hits zero. There will be prizes for the first two across the line on Wednesday.

After the final run we will have the presentation of prizes in the Friary Gym. We would encourage all parents to attend this final prize giving.  The top prizes on the night will be the top three team prizes. The winning captain will also be presented with the Powersfield Cup which will be presented by Eunice Power. There are also a large number of individual prizes. West Waterford AC Juvenile Committee would like to thank to the Augustinian Community and to St Augustine’s College for the use of their facilities for the running of the League.

Munster B Championships Postponed

Due to the heavy rainfall over the last number of weeks the Munster Council took the decision to postpone the Munster B Championships which were due to be held in Killarney last weekend. The event will now be held in conjunction with the relays in Clarecastle on Dec 11th. The entries for the event are now open again so anyone still interested in going let me know and I will get the entries in.
