Training Started Last Wednesday and Friday
We were back in training last Wed and Friday and we had a good turnout of secondary school age athletes who are preparing for the schools cross country events which are coming up in early February. These will be the first schools cross country events since March 2020 and our athletes are looking forward to getting back in action and competing for their schools. There was also a good turnout from our under 9’s and 10’s and it looks like we will have a boys and girls team under 11for the All Ireland B championships. We will train again on Wed and Friday next week and all our athletes of secondary school age and those who wish to compete in the All Ireland B are welcome.
Our walkers Doireann and Eabha Hickey are training hard under the watchful eye of their coach Zuzana Costin and they will compete in the indorr championships in February.
