Inter Sport Elverys Winter League Starts on Wednesday October 9th@4.15
This year we welcome back Inter Sport Elverys who will again sponsor the juvenile winter league. The league known among the athletes as Tony’s League will get underway on Wed Oct 9th @4.15. Check in will be open from 4pm with the first group under way by 4.15. Wed 9th Oct and Wed 16th Oct are the two trial days with the team contest getting underway on Wed Oct 23rd. You have to compete on one of those two trial days in order to be in a team. If you miss those two dates you can still compete as an individual but will not be included in the team event. The team competition will be run over four weeks Oct 23rd, Nov6th, 13th and 20th. The final run and presentation will take place on Wed 27th of November with the Power Family Cup going to the captain of the winning team. If you take part in one of the trial days but cannot commit to running each Wed in Nov please let Lola, Antoinette or Mary know at training as it really throws out the team results if some of the team members are missing.  The League always generates great interest among the athletes and is great preparation for the upcoming Munster Championships. Training will continue on Wed and Fri @4.15 for the rest of the winter
