We have now run off the first two weeks of our winter league and seventy athletes have completed the trial run and we will be sorting out the teams during the mid term break.
In week 2 thirty two athletes improved on their time from week one. David Kiely continues to lead the small lap. Etain Ní Mhurchadha improved her time by 50 secs. Jude Lavan and Ché O’hArtaigh ran under 4mins and Caleb Roche, Cillian O’Brien and Rian Murray are all closing in on the 4min mark. Sadie Burke went under 5mins for the first time.
In the big lapJarleth Hurney leads the way in the boys with a time of 7.50 and Eabha Broderick was the fastest girl in 8.03. Cathal Murphy went under 5mins for the first time and Daniel Curran and Colm O’Muiri went under 9 mins
On Wednesday 30th we will have our usual training and the team section og the league will start on Wed Nov 6th.
