We’re Back in Action

Training for our younger athletes starts on Wednesday next March 21st @ and will continue every Wednesday and Friday for the summer.  All youngsters from age eight upwards are welcome to come along.  We will be getting ready for the Track and Field, which kicks off in April.

West Waterford Athletes Figure in Schools Championships

In the recent All-Ireland Mountain Running Championships the Ard Scoil na nDeise senior team finished second with Shona Curran qualifying to represent Ireland at an international event in Italy. Elma Nugent finished in 6th place.  Jenny Hurley was 8th Niamh O’Riordan 12th and Emer Scanlan 15th.  In the junior girls Edel Roche ran a great race to finished 9th and there was also a much-improved performance from Claire Collins who finished 19th.
