21st Annual Kiely Monumental Colligan Cup (All Day)
21st Annual Kiely Monumental Colligan Cup Open Juvenile 2km handicap event at 1.30 pm. (One flat lap of the wood) Open Senior 5 mile handicap event at 2 p.m. (3.5 laps of the flat wood circuit) This race is also based on a handicap system whereby each runner predicts his/her time for the distance. No watches allowed and the winner is the first person nearest to their predicted time. Entry fee on race day is 8 euros.Special prize this year to celebrate the 21st edition of the event will be a draw among all participants for a weekend away in Kenmare Co.Kerry.
Race 1 in Michael Roche Carpets Spring Series 2009. Entry to the series is 7 euros. Take the R672 out of Dungarvan for Clonmel. After 3 miles approx, take a right for Colligan Wood. Race signs will be in place.
